Most laser printers employ the use of a drum that becomes the central component of the device. Drums are the component which receive the image from a laser printer and then transfers that image to paper through use of the toner cartridge inside the drum. These drums work tirelessly as they turn multiple times when a page is printed, at times heating up and working extra in order to produce the image you see on your computer screen. This type of technology basically ends up in inscribing the image onto paper, making it visible once it is printed. Through the years, technologies have changed in how drums are manufactured.
Toner 4 Less carries a large stock of copier drums and printer drums for many different makes and models of laser printers and copiers. As the largest and most critical component of these devices, they also dictate print quality, determining how an image is affected if any damage was to affect the drum. However, even without any direct damage, indirect damage could be a result of extensive use, overheating or other underlying causes that result in shortening the life span of the product. Eventually, some of them may need to be replaced, and that is where the question of cost comes into play when determining the type of printer to purchase.
