Epson, also known as Seiko Epson Corporation, is a Japanese company that focuses on technology. Epson printers

It was in June 1978 when the company released their dot matrix printer to the market. This printer was manufactured with the purpose mainly for the Commodore PET Computer as their system printer. The printer with eighty columns is called TX-80. This printer had undergone developments. After two years, the new printer is called MX-80. The improved model was launched October 1980. Soon after the launching, MX-80 became the best selling printer in the whole United States.

In March 1993, the company released Epson MJ-500 - an inkjet printer that used the technology of piezoelectric crystal. Each of the nozzles has this crystal. Epson laptops

It was in November 1981 when the first portable laptop was introduced to the world. The laptop is called Epson HC-20 that weighs 1.7 kilograms. Outside Japan, the laptop is called HX-20. Its features are two Hitachi 6301 CPU, full sized keyboard, micro-cassette storage device, dot matrix printer, 16KB RAM (32KB max), RS232/Serial Port, 120 x 32 dot matrix LCD screen (20 x 4 characters), and built in rechargeable batteries. The CPU runs at 0.614 MHz. In the ROM, installation of Microsoft BASIC was done. IT also has its own carrying case. It was in July 1982 when the first handheld computer was introduced to the world. The computer is called HX-20. While in May 1983, the first portable LCD TV was introduced to the world. The company developed and launched this that same year.
