“Kelcima” is the original product of Kyocera. It is a ceramic insulator that is used in picture tubes of television. After this, the company has produced a wide range of products that is based on ceramics. These products are for use in structural and electronic applications. As part of their expansion they will invest a total of ¥50 billion. By March 2013, the company has an aim of producing a global capacity equal to 1GW of these solar cells.
