When the printer’s toner runs low, the panel light comes on, but the printer continues to print. You can pull the cartridge out and shake it to get more prints out of it until it gets so weak that you can’t take it anymore. Then put in the new cartridge. Hooray!

last time I posted this on 3 stars as I used only few days at that time and was not sure if its good or not. now I found that this is so far so good.
I want to change it to 4 stars now and may change it to 5 stars after using (seeing) some more days.

The product was shipped quickly and is, indeed, a true Lexmark branded cartridge. It installed easily and the return package was perfect for recycling the old cartridge

I have no complaints about longevity. I’m still using the cartridge I bought in 2013. There IS a difference in toner. I bought a supposedly equivalent refilled toner from an OEM and the toner was inferior. I only by true Lexmark toner cartridges now.

My Lexmark X463X11G has been a remarkably reliable workhorse printer. My only complaint is that I have to replace the toner every once in a while! This is the original toner, and of course it works great.

I get two FULL years out of each toner cartridge and actually, get more than the advertised number of pages. The key is to:

Adjust the toner settings so you printer only prints at about 60-70% instead of maximum darkness. You won’t even be able to tell the difference in the print.
You should get at least 50% more yield from the cartridge by performing the above two steps. This makes it much easier (easiER, not easy!) for me to accept spending $100 on printer ink.
